Born: 1954 Okinawa, Japan
    Born in Naha, Okinawa, the birth place of Karate,
Shihan Kiyoshi Arakaki started practicing Karate in his
early years.

    In 1980, he founded Okinawa Karate-Do Muso-Kai in
Salt Lake City, Utah, U. S. A.

    After recognizing the difference between Western
sports and Eastern martial arts such as Karate. Shihan
Arakaki re-trained his Karate and created the new
methods based on ancient Okinawan Karate.

    His book "The Secrets of Okinawan Karate" became
a best seller in Japan and was translated and published
in English, Spanish, and Italian.

    Muso-Kai believes that the purpose of learning Karate
is making valuable people in society and with hard training,
it is possible.

    Those beliefs come from experience Shihan Arakaki
got from working as a volunteer of Mother Teresa's "Missionaries of Charity" in Calcutta, India.

    Okinawa Karate-Do Muso-Kai and Shihan Kiyoshi
Arakaki's ideas are spread world wide not only by his
books but also seminars and workshop.
